My son was admitted on Monday morning with suspected appendicitis. It became very clear within a couple of hours that he would need surgery. Dr Vanash Patel came to talk us through the procedure. As a parent, you are naturally worried when it’s your child and for my son, it was scary knowing he had to have an operation. Dr Patel was brilliant he sat down with us and explained exactly what would happen. He was very caring and listened carefully to any questions we had. We felt very reassured. The Op went very well and in the morning he explained clearly what to expect in terms of aftercare etc when we went home. My son is recovering well Thank you so much for your great care.
